Hastelloy C-22 (UNS N06022 / W.Nr. 2.4602) is a versatile nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy with better overall corrosion resistance than C-276, especially in oxidizing environments. The high chromium content provides superior resistance to oxidizing media while molybdenum and tungsten offer protection in reducing environments.

Corrosion Resistance

Outstanding resistance to both oxidizing and reducing environments. Superior to C-276 in mixed acid environments. Excellent resistance to localized corrosion including pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Resistant to chloride-induced attack.
